I know every doctor and hospital is different, but just looking to hear experiences before I call my OB for info tomorrow. At my appointment last Thursday, my doctor said (so nonchalantly, lol) That we would see about getting the ball rolling at my next appointment (this coming Thursday the 14th), if not with in the few days following. I think it took me a minute to realize what she was saying and she had already left the room when it sunk in so I didn't have her there to get more details lol. Should I be expecting to be admitted and induced at/after my appointment? Or is that something they usually schedule and have you come back for? I'm delivering at a military facility so my OB is in the same hospital, same floor actually, as Labor and Delivery.

I was also thinking that could have been what she was referring to. But she was looking at the calendar and only talking about days that she will actually be on L&D (she's head of OB and ended up taking me on last month after some horrible experiences, so she's trying To keep all of my care strictly with her) And then said she does not want me to go past my due date (the 20th) sooo I'm not sure, lol. I would think she would have been a little more detailed if she was talking about actually inducing versus just membrane sweep, but she's kind of quirky so who knows. I guess it will be a surprise 😳 @carsonsmommy2016
