I believe in spanking as well theres a difference between discipline and abuse and a lot of people need to learn that and start teaching their children not to be brats and that they dont always get their way

exactly. and I totally know there are other ways of disciplining. and I will do those too, but when I was younger, I laughed if my mom put me in the corner, or took my tv from me. so I also realize I can spank my child, without it being abuse.

Yup I believe in it too. I was raised spanked Lol boy do I remember those days😂😂😂😂. I turned out just fine and so did my hubby. Our moms didn't play that.

I personally don't believe it's necessary. I was never spanked as a child, my parents just talked to me like I was a human being, and treated me with respect and I did the same. if I did something wrong they explained why it was wrong and then I stopped. I realize not all kids are the way I was and it may not work for all kids. but it worked for me and all the children I babysat. to each their own though

I was raised with discipline (I.e. spanking, things being taken away, grounding, etc) but my boyfriend wasn't, but we already agreed that spanking and discipline will be how we deal with things. If spanking isn't needed as in they didn't do something horribly bad or if being put in a corner would be more effective, that's how we'd go about it. People these days say that spanking is abuse. No abuse is abuse, spanking is discipline
