if you feel that she's ready it's up to you. we started spoon feeding my son at 4 months. i guess just rice and formula wasnt guess rice or oatmeal wasnt good enough anymore. lol

My baby boy has been on cereal in bottle since 2 weeks. Dr orders. It's helped him not spit up as much and not get diarrhea anymore. Plus he seems to get hungry a little faster after bottles without it in there. I'd talk to your doctor! I know that's the answer for everything it seems. But I wouldn't make an appointment unless they just needed you to. Just call and ask them about it over the phone if possible.

No solids before 6 months is the current recommendations from AAP and WHO. Any sooner can cause allergies, eczema, and other gut health issues. Look into "the virgin gut" and "baby led weaning". We skipped cereal all together as there's no real nutritional value.
