@cmwilliams, my LO has been lifting his since he was a day old! So it's not anything you did wrong. Just try to be better with tummy time(:

with my daughter I did alot of tummy time! and i wanna say around 2 or 3 months she was able to control her head as far as lifting it up idr exactly

I only put my son on my chest at first (and he is not a big fan of tummy time now) but he's been holding his head up since 6 weeks

@camdensmama, my lo is about to be 7 weeks and struggles to lift her head up. I know that It's more then likely my fault because we never put her down and I'm not faithful with doing tummy time. :(

I try to do it multiple times a day in short increments. But will leave him longer if he's fussy. And my LO is 6 weeks and can hold his head up for at least 30 seconds before he gets tired but then will pick it right back up!
