Anybody know much about this? tmi to some so I'll post photo in comments. I went to the doc yesterday and they said I don't have strep. just a sinus infection and an ear infection. These white splotches popped up on my tonsils.. what could it be? should I go back?

Alright thank you. they gave me amoxicillin for my sinus and ear infection so hopefully it'll just treat that too.. @callumsmommy

that's strep throat, and or tonsillitis, go to your family doctor immediately, you'll need amoxicillin to get rid of it. I'm still on mine:/ I carry the virus just like she said and i get it constantly:/@mommy2be15
that is strep throat they need to redo a swab test.....we redo them in the doctors office all the time cause sometimes the q-tip doesn't pick up enough bacteria to read on the test and/or the q-tip may not have hit the ulcer or puss

infections can cause those spots but it never hurts to go back, strep can be dangerous if not treated. But I used to carry thr strep virus and I would get those spots but not actually have strep
but they did a step test yesterday and it was negative@arijane316
