I absolutely hate having divorced parents. It'd be nice to just have one big baby shower & you'd think after 10 years they could be cordial enough for that, but instead my mom wants to half ass throw me a shower, literally tell me no details about it, and half the people that were going to show up may not even be there from what my brother just said. There was only going to be a handful of people anyway. Of course my mom had to go out last night for a double date, so I'm sure she's hungover and I just want to cry and not even have one at her place.

I was going to have 3 because my parents were never married and nobody can stand my so's mother...... Until she invited herself and my biological mom didn't plan one so I only had one lol

I mean it's just so stressful. I didn't invite anyone to my moms because like I said I literally had no details, and my grand parents on that side are just not very open and inviting so I was planning on it just being family. But if my aunt and uncles family aren't coming that leave me, my sister, mom, and grandparents. That's not even a party. I don't even wanna do this at all. Like I'm seriously so upset right now and so mad that I just put so much energy into getting dressed. And my mom can't even text me back and answer me if they're coming or not, because if they're not, I'm not going either.

I told my parents that they have to deal with each other & be civil or just not show up. It's not about me anymore (they didn't do so great when it was about me) it's about my baby so they need to get with it or get lost. I love my parents it's just I don't have time or patience for childishness & I don't want my baby to see what I had to see

I told my parents to just deal with eachother but my mother won't be going to my baby shower since my dad is going to be there... but we are the children when they cant grow up
