Do whatever you feel you can manage hun, afterall the further you get along in pregnancy etc...the more things will take a toll on your body, long hours may be too much. You need plenty of rest! xx

I'm struggling now! It makes me so tired and sore! I have hardly rested atall, I'm always working and days I have off I always have so much to do! I'm like a woman possessed, surely can't be the only one that just cannot rest! Xx @winterbaby95

I'm a care worker and now on maternity but I'm based at a care home. I had regular risk assessments and wasn't allowed to do any moving and handling even with another person. I just assisted my colleagues and done cleaning and feeding. I think you should Deffo take it a bit easier and take mat leave sooner. I know the feeling that you think you can do stuff and think oh I'll just do this I'll be okay but it is hard work and you should be taking it easy. better to be safe than sorry don't do anything your not comfortable with xxx

Yeah, I shouldn't be doing moving and handling and my employer has only ever carried out one risk assessment! I think I'm going to stick with my maternity because I'm struggling xx

well I'd speak to your employer then an tell them that you don't wanna go on mat leave early but you need more support and write down what your happy to do and what your not happy doing so that you don't forget once your face to face with them. it's not fair that you should struggle bu I know what you mean mat pay isn't great so the only option is to work for as long as you can. but you need to make sure they know what you can an can't do because if you injure yourself they will hold you responsible where as if it's written down in a risk assessment what you can an can't do they would have to stick by that an it just covers yourself as well so they can't hold you accountable xxx

It's awful because they've tried to get rid of me ever since I told them I was pregnant! I was made to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Hogmany and New Year's Day. Everyone else got one or the other. I haven't had a weekend off since I told them I was pregnant either. I'm being so unfairly treated but I'm sticking it out because as a single mum, I need to provide on my own! It's tough, so tough! But I think I'll stick with the maternity I'm taking, I could use the rest! This pregnancy hasn't been easy atall! But thank you so so much! @sachadaley123 xxx

I really feel for you! I know it's difficult because you don't wanna complain to much cos they can make the rest of your time there difficult but I'm so angry with them for you! maybe see a union for being treated unfairly. I get its hard though as you don't want conflict and sometimes it's easier to just get on with it! not long now though it will fly for you then you can have a well deserved rest by the sounds of it before your baby arrives!! hope everything goes well for you though and it goes quick!! @beccastirlingx xxx
