I wasnt present for it and seriously when they brought him back in he was asleep and every time i changed him and put the medicine on it he didnt cry. It didnt hurt him.

I had them take my boys without me there to do it. the pain for them is very little afterwards. I never had to give anything for the pain. they will give a cream to prevent infection. seeing blood on few diapers is very normal. good luck. we are getting this circumcised also.

@kirstenxoxo, That makes me feel a little better! I'm still going to be a baby I'm sure though. This is probably one of those things that hurts momma a lot longer than what it will him! Lol it makes me emotional thinking about it already! Yikes!

i had my first in washington state and they dont do it in the hospital. .i had to wait 2 weeks. i cried like a baby. lol. But it didn't bother him at all.! didnt cry when cleaned or anything. so im not so worried now with my second baby boy.

@lmc_simsmommy, Oh girl I'm ready! I better make a PSA now that I'm not against moms who opt not to have their sons circumcised, so people don't jump on my case for the personal decision I made to have it done with my son lol

Exactly!! My son will be also, im so tired of people that feel their opinion is the only right one. I think theyve died down though cause so far no one has tried it w ur post today lol

@bphipps29, I was very worried that it would bother him when I change him, but I'm so glad that it doesn't really seem to!! Hopefully it's that way with my little guy as well! Thank you for your input!! ☺️

@lmc_simsmommy, So far, so good! Lol! We all make personal decisions with our kids that some people will inevitably disagree with.. Very unfortunate that some people will always think that their way is the only way something should be done & are not even willing to accept others decisions for THEIR children. I think everyone should go into parenthood with an open mind about everything!

my boys didn't even fuss the docs said, they said they did real good and they were all quiet n content when they came back to me, they looked like they slept thru it lol!! They're my first also, it'll be fine hun!!! like you said they won't remember it anyways, it's like they almost instantly forgot about it especially when they came back to mama! ☺☺

My son was fine through the whole thing and calm when he came back to my room. It was very quick.

I had it done in my home a few wks after he was born, I thought it was going to be this horrible thing and it wasn't at all! He made a quick sound and then nothing, no crying or anything.

My mom's baby boys didn't even cry. Keep vaseline on it and he will be fine.
