the first day I can afford to go on maternity leave is my due date.. The only way I get to have some days off before he's here is if he's late.... Due date is the 18th and I need this and next weeks paycheck for this months car insurance phone bill and dog food.. Then hopefully I'll be able to take the rest of January off..
My parents own the business I work for so I can take any amount of time I can afford off...when they first asked I told them I think I could only afford to take a week off 😭 thankfully car insurance went down which is why I'll be able to survive at least taking 2 weeks off, but I'm working an extra week worth of work for my aunt since her husband is home from Afghanistan so I'll be able to take 3 off. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to. Will they let you work extra hours?
