@tallgirl16, if it's pasteurized then yes im mexican and always eat our cheeses like queso fresco so I just buy packaged ones from the store now

if it has been heated thoroughly it should be safe. there's just a small risk of listeria poisoning from soft cheeses but if they've been cooked it should kill it
