Is an epidural the only option for pain relief while in labor? Because I'm not too big on a needle…

They have pills and shots. I heard the shot relives pain for 30 min tho. I feel the same about the ep.im not going to do it

Nope! Depending on your hospital they have other methods like a medicine that goes into your IV or laughing gas. Ask your doctor/hospital about what they offer.

I'm not either... I'd rather deal with the pain!

When your in all that pain from the contractions the epidural don't even hurt lol well not for me I was really scared to get it but I couldn't handle the pain I'm a big baby lol

contractions hurt like hell when they inserted the epidural in my bk I didn't feel nothing I was in so much pain n while they where doing it my daughter came right out

I got stadol in my IV with my daughter. I don't remember anything from then until my water broke lol I was like wow I slept through everything and everybody was like no we heard you screaming in the waiting room lol
