sometimes u just got to do wat u have to hun, at 2 wks my son was drinking 2 1/2 to 3 ounces, do wat u feel is right, if u think she just wants love give it to her if she seems hungry still give her more. follow ur mom gut and forget wat ur family, his family and the friends say

it's okay to give her more if that's why she's crying, u may be able to do 4 oz and it'll satisfy her longer, say 3.5-4 hours instead of feeding every 2 hours. however, they shouldn't judge you for going by what the doctor says, but what they may mean to say in a less harsh way than how they're saying it is your doctor isn't in your household observing your baby to determine whether or not u should only be giving her 2oz. babies always signal what they want or need. but they definitely shouldn't be so harsh or mean about it, esp if you're a first time mommy. you're learning just like they did with their first child. you're doing good love, just let it roll off ur back

your baby will know what she wants to eat, if she's hungry feed her. you do what you think is best, you know your baby better than anyone.

if shes hungry feed her. im a first time mommy and i can say if my baby boy is still hungry and crying after 2oz. maybe 3 i give him more until hes satisfied. i was told its only too much if hes throwing up after eating so... momma knows best and baby better than anyone else even the doctors!

none of them have kids and none of them live wit us either we went to visit and she was crying because no one would pick her up all of them just fat over there lol and think shes suppose to eat everytime she crys like that is not the solution to everything im trying to brush it off but its hard especially when u keep everything in and cant even talk to your boyfriend about how you feel because he doesn't understand @mango44

feed her when she's hungry. you can over feed causing her to get sick. I always changed diaper, swaddled, and cuddled if those didn't work then try feeding.

2-4 oz, ur baby will let u know when and how much she wants to eat..

right @kelseyfox2015 they gone make the baby fat feeding her everytime she cry && im trying 3oz to see if that makes a difference @monica810 , && @mommyofboys520 that's exactly what i do too so maybe she do be hungrier than i think she is but half of the time she doesnt even finish her 2 oz so i never think to give her more if she doesnt even finish what i give her

they told me 2oz she just told me today during week 3 the baby may start to have a growth spurt which mean i can start giving her 3oz but nothing over that just yet @mommyofboys520 && lol ur right some fat babies are cutee i just be nervous she gone get tooo fat the way they wanna feed her but maybe thats what it was cause i pretty much know her real good and i did notice when i gave her more shes sleeping longer how often do you feed them when your doing 3oz ??? @monica810

Once I got my baby out of the hospital ( he was a premi and we spent a month in the hospital) I kept him on 3 oz every two to three hours for about a week then I would make a 6 oz bottle and let him eat what he wanted. He was also on rice because of the acid reflux and his Dr even started the rice at 2 weeks. Just a teaspoon and as he got older I added a bit more.

lol i hate auto correct its always messing up what u want to say @monica810 but its been 3 hrs since i last feed her and she still seems full i was thinking every 3 and a half hours and she was tiny too 6pound 13 oz at birth she only 7 pounds 03oz now

we'll if it's been 3 hours and she's still full then feed her when she lets u know she's hungry. give it another hour. it doesn't literally have to be every 3 hours like if she's sleeping let her sleep n what not

Lol right i know my baby they just be trippin acting like they know everything than i give her an extra ounce to see if that was it and it wasnt she ate 2 and went back to sleep ...i hate going around his family they just know how to ruin my day they even be bugging me about eating like im ok i dont eat like that and i definitely dont eat everybody food im real picky .. and right but after a while he'll get fustrated and stop picking her up like she just wants love give it to her and lose the attitude you ben wanting this baby for 3years and we finally get her and u act like she gets on yo nerves just unnecessary stress with his ass @mango44 but then at the same time he acts like hes super dad like get out of here u dont know everything
