I'm going to be a young mom. I'm in a long term relationship an have been for over year. I'm 12weeks pregnant an me an my boyfriend have our own place. we already told his parents an some of his family members but I'm having trouble coming up with how to tell mine. my parents are not that easy to break news to. we are all happy about it an I'm nervous that they will make me feel bad for being pregnant. can anyone give me any advice on how to tell my parents?

I just flat out told my mom...she was so upset at first but now she texts me everyday and can't wait .. no matter what they will come around...if they dont you know where they atand.

just say it... of course your mom may be upset about it bcus you are young.. it's her "motherly side"... i promise u it wont last long. i think it would be better to tell her soon though. but honestly, only YOU know your parents, so YOU have to figure out the best way. i hope the advice helps you.. congratulations btw 😘😘

if they take it bad at first just remember they will get over it. my dad took it real bad and I'm 23 he got over it after a few weeks

I agree just say it. I was so scared to tell my mom so I randomly told her in Walmart lol. she got over it now she's excited.

Parent side always shows first and that's the angry scared side. But soon enough grandparent side comes out and that's when they are excited and happy. Just let mom and\or dad get to the grandparent stage.
