i have my 38 week appointment and i am MOST DEFINITELY going to ask him to scrape my membranes and set up an induction date for the day i am 39 weeks. ive been told he is usually ok with it. so maybe your doc will be like mine. im hoping the membrane scrape will just take care of it

I thought about asking yesterday when I went for my 38 week Check up but they normally won't unless you have a medical reason. they scrape membranes at 39 weeks at my doctor but it also just depends on who your doctor is 😊

I had a doctor appointment today and my doctor was talking about induction but said that the hospital I am going to won't allow you to be induced until you hit 39 weeks it is there regulations so not sure if this is with all hospitals or just Methodist.

At my appt yesterday (38 weeks) my doctor said she is going to look into inducing me next time I come in, at 39w1d. I think it all depends on your pregnancy and doctor but wouldn't hurt to bring it up!
