How many ultrasounds are you suppose to have? So far I've had 2 throughout my pregnancy

ive only had 2 :( and im about to be 38 weeks

Aren't there suppose to be more

if your a high risk you might get a couple but ive had two and if i wanted more i have to go elsewhere and pay for them. they aren't medically necessary and unless you get complications you probably won't get any more than 2 maybe 3

It's standard for only 2 or 3. unless high risk or multiples

I'm almost 35 weeks and I've had 3

Depends on how your dr does things or their regulations. With my first, I got an ultrasound every month and then every two weeks towards the end. With my second I only had 2 the whole pregnancy. This time around I told my dr I need one every appt or I'll find someone who will do that for me but so far so good!

Why is that

Usually during a normal non high risk pregnancy you only get 2-3.

My doctor mess up on my appointments all the time

I had one to determine if I was preg lol

Another at 9 weeks and at 12 weeks and ill prob have my next one when they do the gender one

With my son I had about 7! Only cause my doctors was very sweet and loved seeing my son. He would do flips and stuff for us!

I'm 22 weeks I've had five so far

I have had 2. One to confirm pregnancy and one at 18 weeks

My 2nd was stillborn at 39 weeks, so this time around its more for a peace of mind more than anything. I think just 2 for the whole pregnancy is crazy, especially since after my stillbirth the hospitals regs changed and they give more ultrasounds now so obviously they saw an issue with it. I'm not sayin one every appt but a little more than 2 haha

Depends on your insurance and also if your high risk you will have more. I am high risk with my 3rd I am almost 13 weeks I just had my first ultrasound this week. I have one next month for the sex of the baby. If the doctor thinks its necessary than he/she will have them done. It all depends on each person.
