Wow... No one said anything uneducated in the first three posts. They were making sure that she understood that she could risk going into labor. They had no idea that she was purposefully trying to induce labor. There was no reason why you had to come up in arms on the post. It would have been just fine to inform us of her situation. And some people could see this and think it was ok with their situation no knowing that it could harm their baby. But I still don't think it's a good idea to try to go into labor earlier than your already early induction rate. Let your baby stay in as long as they can. Don't be selfish because you want a "natural" birth. A few days can make a HUGE difference in their development and it could be the difference from going to the NICU or not. Best of luck!

@babyrollinssquared, Actually, my comment was 100% warranted. Speaking of uneducated, a lot of women don't understand the risks and complications that come with early and pre-term labor. I was very politely letting her know. This app has shown me repeatedly that a lot of pregnant Mom's don't understand it. In this case the proper response could have been, "I know, I'm actually trying to induce labor." But of course everybody has to be quick to attack because they always feel like they're being attacked. This is a social media site specifically made for women to discuss such topics. You repeatedly said that we should educate ourselves, not a single one of us said anything uneducated and I wasn't out of line by being polite and concerned. Not to mention the fact that nobody was talking to you yet you had to come in on beast mode on your emotional high horse and call us out. Sorry, not sorry.

Also, if you have your baby via c-section or they end up in the NICU there is nothing stopping you from pumping then, to feed your baby. So flipping dramatic.

@babyrollinssquared, Sure! It's okay to pump after 36 weeks if you want to risk going in to labor!! Which is exactly what we all POLITELY said. Obviously we had no clue that @h653 was TRYING to go in to labor. We are educated enough to know that if you're trying to go to full term you should avoid pumping because there is a RISK of inducing early!! That being said, you two are the only ones being assholes here. And very immature. Way to sound knowledgeable and intelligent. And nobody "jumped on your shit". We were all really polite. If you want to have your baby earlier than your already early induction then that's all on you.

And the only way pumping would induce you is because it helps your body release oxytocin. Sex releases more than nipple stimulation. And it's very unlikely to go into labor with just these things unless the conditions are favorable. So guess if yall are so worried you shouldn't be getting any of the D either. 😂🙈 meanwhile I'll sit over here with my colostrum getting laid. ✌🏻

My baby is measuring big and I have really bad asthma so I'm getting induced at 38 weeks. That's in ten days for me. So yes I am TRYING to induce myself because I want to have him naturally instead of getting induced. And I'm saving my colostrum just incase anything happens it's also really good for your baby if you mix it with your milk later on. Yall jumping all over my shit and don't even know. Calm down. Sometimes I just want to delete this app like jeeeeezzzzz @blessedw7 @anella1023 @dontberidiculous but thank you @babyrollinssquared for being supportive.

Pumping can induce labor, if you haven't had your LO yet I wouldn't risk it. You're still considered "early term" so it isn't ideal do anything that might help you go in to labor yet.

Did you have your baby? It's not safe to pump before baby is born.
