a lot of cultures have a confinement period of 40 days after birth for baby and mama to bond and rest and both learn to breastfeed. other family and friends take care of everything else. baby isn't supposed to be handled by everybody so early in life! enjoy your wee one while it's still little and don't feel guilty about not wanting to share- it's totally natural and even helps keep baby safe! immune systems are fragile in the beginning

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant an I'm very selfish already. I catch myself treating my man as a donor some days. Like I want to pick the name and I don't want to share it with anybody. An I want it to love only me lol.
