Have to have an ultrasound Monday for a second opinion on my daughters umbilical cord. Hope everything goes good. Can't wait to see her again, excited but nervous.

What's going on with her cord?

She only has one artery in her umbilical cord. Doctor said it could cause her to be a stillborn, miscarry, way underweight or can cause me to go into labor early. But most babies are born fine just depends. @ash1987

I'm sure she will be fine. my son had the 2VC and he was 8lbs and 12oz. they just checked his kidneys after he was born to make sure they where working right. so I'm sure she will be just fine @babynessa

Me and my husband think she'll be fine. Just the doctor being extra cautious. My aunt who's a nurse said she'd most likely be fine as well. Said most women who have babies with 1 artery turn out to be perfectly healthy. @ash1987

Yeah..they just like to be on the safe side and keep watch on you and the baby @babynessa
