How can I encourage my son to walk he is 1 and he can walk along all the furniture and tables and can pull up on everything he walks behind his walker and he has a ride on toy he walks behind and also a walk behind toy he uses but if I take and put him in the middle of the floor and stand him up and let go of him he immediately sits down and doesn't wanna try. I even take his hands and and walk with him I know babies learn on their own pace but I feel he should wanna walk already.

he'll start eventually. my niece did exactly what your son is doing when she was a year old finally one day I sat down with her and back up some and got her to walk to me. everytime she sat down I stood her back up and encouraged her to walk she started walking about a week after her first birthday.

lol yeah I think that's his problem he's stood on his own for a few seconds but the moment he realizes he is standing on his own he freaks and grabs the table or whatever @damiensmommy2015
