I'm soo tired of seeing so many selfish ignorant people on my timeline...
like honestly.. you're pregnant the world doesn't revolve around you, it revolves around your unborn child.
and things as simple as ultrasounds. I see women constantly complaining about not having enough to please them, and asking where to go to get more ultrasounds since the doctor won't give them more than the standard 2 or 3.
we aren't given more ultrasounds because there's scientific evidence that to many ultrasounds could actually be harmful to an unborn baby in someway.
so why would you throw a hissy fit and demand more?
I had 47 ultrasounds with my first daughter, and she was born with a cyst on her eyeball. she is 3 years old and has to wear an eye patch, and eventually will have multiple surgeries on her eye just to manage the cyst since we can never get rid of it.
why would you guys wanna risk something like that just for an unclear picture of a baby you'll be meeting soon enough?

@theinkedbarbie, getting a 3D or 4D as a memoir kind of thing is normal though. I meant women who are going "I'm 25 weeks, I haven't had an US since my gender scan at 18 weeks, and before that I was 9 weeks. I REALLYYYY wanna see my little baby. where can I go for another ultrasound since my doctor won't give me one since I've had a completely healthy pregnancy so far?"
or something like that. they sort of expect an ultrasound every 3 weeks or something because they just wanna look at their baby.
I mean like I said, I had 47 ultrasounds, there's nothing interesting after you've had your first couple, it always looks the same lol.

@theinkedbarbie, exactly my point, if they felt you needed one, you'd get one every few weeks.
it's sucks we can't see our babies every day already but we have to do what's best for our little ones. we can look at pictures from our ultrasounds instead of demanding another ultrasound to see the exact same thing our picture would show us.
soon enough all of us will have our babies in our arms and will see what they look like every single day lol.

I have twins and have to get an ultrasound every month to make sure they're on track I couldn't imagine having more than that.
