hey mommies! so I'm almost 20, and my son is going to be 2 months old on the 29th of this month. my mom and grandmom said I should try putting rice cereal in his bottles before bed, but everything I've read says to wait till 4 months. what are your thoughts??

I waited until 3 months and it was because he was underweight due to him being a preemie and formula just wasn't cutting it in my opinion 2 months is a little too early I'd wait until 3 months and try it if that's what you wanna do its your call its your baby

I gave it to my son at 2 months. and he's perfectly fine. actually his pedi told me to give it to him at 2 months!

My son was a preemie too. he was 5lbs 2oz when he was born. he's 6lbs 8oz now! but yea, 2 1/2-3 months seems good. he's been gaining weight, but it seems like 5 oz bottles aren't filling him up enough, seeing as though he's hungry ever 2-3 hours instead of 3-4

my dr told me no to cereal but oh well. we stayed around 1 month, but no bottle! !! spoon

they say 4mnths for formula fed and 6mnths for breast fed..my mom and grandmom wanted me too as well but when he was 6 wks...my son is 3 mnths(breast fed) and i still havent given him food..if u want to,i would wait at least until 3. but it is up to u.dont forget u are the parent,not them..
