My pregnancy story..... I went to go get my birth control switched, because I thought I was nowhere near ready for a baby. On that same day my doctor prescribed Amitriptyline for my migraines. I had no clue any of the side effects except weight gain (they don't lie about that) and drowsiness. So a week after I switched my birth control my fiancé and I went back to our normal sex life. 7 weeks later I told my mom I felt funny and by that time I had asked the doctor to stop my Amitriptyline. My mom made me take a pregnancy test. They both came up positive. She made me get another and they did the same. Then she got the most expensive ones and finally after 6 tests that were all positive she sent me to the volunteer clinic. I took 3 tests there that all came up positive. And I was blessed with a little bean in my belly ❤️ being only 17 when I found out I was terrified, but now I want nothing more than this happy, healthy, baby boy❤️ I am now 23 weeks and about a month ago I was reading on Amitriptyline and it turns out..... IT CANCELS BIRTH CONTROL. Please let people who aren't trying to get pregnant that they need to be extra cautious on the medicine.
