You're supposed to only get it once and it lasts the rest of your life.

No u gotta get it every pregnancy during and sometimes after depends on the babies blood type if u get it after or not. mine didn't hurt tho never has that's weird.

@cass_lynne, I got one with every pregnancy I've had, and then you get one once the baby is born. @dieselsmom0117 its a shot for those who have a negative blood type, and the baby might have a positive blood type which could result in your body forming antibodies against the baby and ultimately rejecting the pregnancy, it can be life threatening for the baby and if your blood types mix it can be especially dangerous

@ashley415, yeah, I guess its because I haven'y had a shot in forever lol last shot ive had was a TDAP a couple years back. Guess Im just a baby lol

You're only supposed to get another one if the baby is a positive. I did some research on it and that's at least how it work in Maine. You shouldn't have to ever get it again once it's in you it stays.

Yep lol every pregnancy weather it's full term or miscarriage ( my last 2) u need one it's cuz it protects the pregnancy
