i had the implanon implant in my arm, not the same at all but it only took a couple of months for the birth control to work its way out of my system, we had it removed in September and conceived in November. hope this helps answer your question even though our birth controls were different, i had also had mine in for two years and feared that would have an effect on how quick we could conceive. good luck :)

I didn't have mirena I had paragaurd but even then it took me 4-5 months to conceive I took it out December 6th 2013 I didn't conceive till about April or May of 2014

I had the mirena for four years...had it removed in June 2015 and found out I was pregnant in late August 2015.

thank you everyone. I had my menses around december8th and on January 3rd I bled for a day and have had pregnancy symptoms but testing negative up until 3 days ago and still no full blown monthly.

It only took us 3 months.
