My SO says I'm using my hormones as an excuse to be the way I am, but he also said that I didn't start acting "this way" until I was pregnant. Should I be upset or do I actually need to change the way I am being? He says I can be rude and unthoughtful. I don't realize that I'm being this way though

I would remind him that growing a human child is hard on the body and that hormones are raging. My boyfriend said the same thing so we agreed that I'd watch the things I say and how I say them if he remembers that it's hard on me. Honestly I would just talk to him about it to avoid future fights

@emma.rose, thank you. It doesn't help that he isn't exactly happy about the situation, it has caused a lot of problems since he doesn't consider raging hormones as a legitimate cause.

Honestly he's going to have to get over the fact of not being happy about it. It was his doing also. Tell him maybe he should research pregnancy and he won't think it's an excuse anymore. Point out to him that your symptoms (caused by hormones) don't just pop up without hormones

@emma.rose, I linked him to a couple articles. We don't live together right now and I think that's also causing a big problem.

That would be hard, do you guys plan on moving in together before the baby?

that should help some, just try to watch the things and the way you say things until then. it's hard trust me, I hold back a lot of shit but it's worth not fighting over
