I was induced, they first put a foley bulb in because I was barley dilated. Then when I was a 4cm (about 7 hours later) they began the pitocin. My contractions were terrible 😭😫 but they gave me some good meds once I finally asked. Then after about 7 more hours (still was only at a 4) they broke my water. Before they broke my water they gave me the option of the epidural or not.. But they told me how painful breaking my water would be so I chose the epidural. Then it didn't hurt, I just felt the warm water. Then we waited and waited about 4 more hours but every contraction I had my sons heart rate went down and my body wouldn't dilate anymore. We waited a couple more hours and my doctor decided to do a c section since his heart rate kept dropping and I wouldn't dilate. I went into the doctor at only about a 1 1/2 cm though.

I had no signs either. I hadn't even had a contraction. I guess he just wasn't ready. But my c section wasn't bad at all, just the recovery was a bit. I felt better after a week. I hope everything goes good and can't wait to see the baby!!!!
I went in to get induced at 39 weeks. I chose to be induced because my doctor was going out of town, however that wasn't one of the best decisions I've made. First they gave me medication to thin my cervix and to start contraction, but nothing happened so they inserted a foley bulb, not the most pleasant experience. The foley bulb alone sent my body into contractions, so they decided to hold off on the pitocin for a little while. Long story short about 18 hours later they deemed it a failed induction and sent me home 😩. They said my contractions would stop, but they never did, they just remained irregular. I got induced on a Friday at midnight, and after my water broke at home I had my daughter that following Monday.

My sons name is Micah too!!!! My son just didn't want to come😭 so I'm sure yours will go better!!!
