I want to name my baby Lyric Brooke Woodard if it's a girl but no one else likes the name :(

I like that name it's beautiful . I named my son Angelus and pretty much no one in my family likes it. my dad won't even call him by his name.

@nyckolle00, I'm wanting something with Brooke after my great grandmother and the name lyric just makes me feel happy. I just don't want everyone to pick on her or do like your dad and call her Brooke only

@curlykarla, what makes me mad is the name would fit in perfectly. my niece is named Skyanna rose and my cousin is named raven skye. And a distant relative has a son named josya.whats so odd about lyric that no one wants me to curse my kid with it?

just put your foot down. that's your child and you'll name her whatever you want. if the people in your life don't like it tell them to get lost and don't let them call her anything else. if they try calling her by her middle name correct them and tell them that isn't her name if they don't stop tell them they won't be able to see her. that's what I did to the people in my life that don't like my son's name. life's to short to let other people control what you do and also be negative around you.
