Yesterday my genetic fetal ultrasound came out good. babygirls was laying upside down and they really couldn't see the heart but all.in all everything from what they can see looks good and her features didn't show any down syndrome...but...since I was borderline for down syndrome on my state screening its considered still a positive and they want me to do another blood test that will be about 99.9% accurate on results to determine specifically if she has down syndrome..the next option would be amniocentesis. I was told that I have up to 24weeks to decide if I want to terminate if its positive for down syndrome!!!!!! like wtf?!!! In my heart I feel she is going to be okay but my mind tells me maybe a possibility but I couldn't even bare to think of terminating my pregnancy! but idk its a hard position I would be in if I would want my baby girl to struggle with down syndrome...I pray that God will gives us the strength and protect my baby girl bring her to us as healthy as can be:)
