one pregnancy tip I DON'T follow is telling people you're pregnant after the 12week mark.. every baby should be known and celebrated. of course it's your own preference but I've never agreed with waiting bc you can lose a baby at any moment with or without it being 12weeks or 40weeks. celebrate life ♡

I think it just depends on the situation... if you are a private person and has had complications conceiving or had miscarriages I can see why people wait till "it sticks". My husband can't keep a secret so as soon as he knew the whole world knew lol.

same here he was so adamant on not telling anyone until our first ultrasound but then he sent the pregnancy test pics to his family lol @karnamarie

yea i kinda agree, i mean either way.. i personally didnt tell anyone cuz my brother just died and i miscarried a few years back, i didnt want to hurt anyone or have my family looking forward to something that would also be taken from them as well. but everyones different.

the way I see it, I wouldn't want to tell anyone before a certain point in case I did lose baby because I don't everyone's sympathy and "is there anything we can do". I'd want to just mourn in private.

I didnt with this one until 13 weeks because i had told my whole family with a previous pregnancy but baby didnt make it so i wanted to wait since they told me i could lose this one too. But thats just me.

nothing says you have to respond to people. and I'm not saying anyone has to tell people or not, hence the part about it being a preference. the day after I told people about my first pregnancy, I lost it the next week.. such is life though. when we got pregnant with our full term baby I told immediately even though I was a scared but I didn't think me telling people is what caused my is what caused me to lose the first one and I wanted this one and the current one to be known.. usually waited til I had an ultrasound pic though

I told everyone at 8 weeks when I got my first ultra sound! And my friend that did the same that lost her baby the first time got mad at me saying its bad luck imma lose my baby blah blah blah.

@gypsy.soul2, I don't care what people say I'm now 28+1 with a beautiful baby girl and even if I did lose her she should be known I'm not hiding it like I'm ashamed no I love this life more than anything!

With both my daughter and this pregnancy we told everyone right away!! We were so happy and excited we had to share the news :) plus my husband can't keep a secret lol .. Obviously it depends on the situation of each person but a pregnancy is a blessing and should be celebrated since day one and that's what we have done !! ❤️❤️❤️

@gypsy.soul2, I learned with my first pregnancy that ANYTHING can happen through out the entire pregnancy .. Always so frustrated wether the baby is moving or not .. Or about this pain or about a certain color discharge .. Or if the baby is growing right and gaining weight .. There's risks all the time .. We do amazing things with our bodies and pregnancy is a beautiful thing so let's enjoy it every moment with our loved ones .. We told everyone when I was 5 weeks n look at me I am almost 12 weeks ! It's nice to know our families know and they are as happy as us .. And also that brings more help to me with not lifting heavy stuff .. Someone is always here to help me :) oh and bring me all my cravings lol
