Just a couple days after coming home from the hospital I found out that my other half has been fighting depression for a very long time and never allowed me to see it since he thinks of it as a weakness.. I hurt for him. But as a new mom with a history of depression and anxiety myself I hurt too. He has been doing things behind my back to distract himself from all the pain and as much as I love him and will not let him fight this alone. I just don't know how much more I can take. We've been together for over 7 years now, we have grown up together and hit obstacle after obstacle because of it and it's exhausting..

sounds like he needs some relationship revamping. what i suggest is writing him a very intimate letter ;) in that letter tell him why he is the best dad ever and why you are so happy with him. then go into more intament details. tell him what things he does that get you excited both sexual on not sexual. tell him why you think he is handsome and and normally if you add something "nauty" in there that really helps them lol. then leave this letter in his lunch bag or what have you so he will read it while he is gone that way he wants to come home to you and can't wait to see you. the next step is to then follow through with him. if he wants to be intament do it be fun exciting explorative. don't hold back and be energetic. if you give him honor and respect he will give you the love you need. in the letter also tell him why you need to fight through the depression together because 2 are stronger than 1 and he needs you just like you need him.
