According to my lmp I should be 9 weeks, but the sac is measuring 6 weeks 5 days. Gestational sac, yolk sacs are viable , but no fetal poles or heartbeats detected. Dr . said prepare to bleed and that the pregancy is lost meaning I will miscarry any day now.
I been reading online and people say a week can make a big change for the babies. is there hope ? What are the chances that both babies didn't take? Should I get a second opinion before they schedule a dc?
I had a sac at 5 days and it had no fetal pole, give your little one time they all grow at different rates my doctor says you won't be pronounced a miscarry that early because baby could be forming. @nicole0729
Give it time! With my daughter and my twins they wanted to do a D&C right away because no heart beat, no sac. I waited a few weeks, had bleeding with my daughter so went in and I was having a healthy 9 week along baby. They found her heart beat right away. The twins passed away at 9 weeks but had healthy heart beat until they came out suddenly. I also lost my son in September @ 22 weeks along. He had a low heart beat so they called it a missed abortion which means my body rejected him. I am now 13 weeks and I've had bleeding and mucus bad but babies heart beat is 158 and strong! There is always hope!!
I would give it a week when I fist found out I was pregnant I went to the emergency room because I had the flu. When I told them I was pregnant they did an ultra sound and could not find a heartbeat it was simply just too soon. I had my first doctor appointment at 8 weeks and there was a heart beat strong as ever 😊😊😊. I personally would not schedule dc I would wait
I wish my Dr will tell me other wise. I am making another apt with a different provider. hopefully the second opinion will bring me to ease
