@domxtwo, was induced at 39 weeks so the babies team of specialists could be on hand (only reason I was induced) got to hospital at 730am I was 3cm 100% effaced. started pitocin around 9. contractions were bad but tolerable from the start. was checked at 10 was 4cm. turned up pitocin twice. around noon doctor comes in says theres no reason to make this last all day. well give you another hour then ill come in youll get the epidural ill break your water and get this show on the road. the contractions were really bad so I asked if I could stand and pace next to the bed. did that for twenty min then nurse suggested I sit at the edge of a rocker to let gravity help. I did and about 15 min later my water fully breaks on its own. they finally got me back in bed called doc. shes comes in says oh we have time ill go page dr for epidural. I was laying on my side. told nurse I need to push she says its not time yet. I said I dont care I need to push. they laid me on my back threw dr a paper gown as she was still in regular clothes. four uncounted uninstructed pushes and baby girl was born at 115 weighing 6lb 2oz no meds

was supposed to get induced at 39 weeks and head to hospital at 7am. that morning around 3:30am I was having pains but thought they were just ligament pains so took a bath until it was time to go in, got to hospital at 7am and was having contractions. Baby was coming on her own and fast! got drugged pretty good and by 11:30, I had my first baby girl. I didn't feel anything until the pain the next day of being snipped a little bit so she didn't get stuck. But it was all worth it :)
