how to get a 9 month old to sleep thru the night. she eats solid food for dinner then drinks her bottle right before bed will roll over and put herself to sleep but will wake up 2 or 3 times a night ether to eat or just wanting to be held. not sure if it's a hunger issue or if it's a security issues she slept in our room till she was 5 months old but she's only slept thru the night 2 in the whole 9 months.

it's when u feed them around 11-12 when they are changing sleep cycles. so you feed her when she's not quite awake an not quite sleeping. that way when she is done eating she should go right back to sleep an be able to wait longer till her next meal. @snowwhite93
you could try a dream feed. she might sleep longer without waking to eat later in the night.

Did you tell lo doctor you were co-sleeping? What is the response im going to get from her dr this month? She is almost 6 months and weve been co-sleeping since 4 months. She starts the night out in bed until she wakes up to eat, and then she comes into my bed.

sleeping in swing?
My 2 1/2 month old has his first cold. We went to the doctor today and she suggested that since he's congested he could sleep in his swing for the next few nights until it clears up. Ftm and I thought it wasn't safe for babies to sleep in swings over night? He's waking up to eat every two hours and I haven't slept in almost four days. Does anyone else find it weird she suggested this??

At first I put my son to bed with a pinky and after a while scout with the bedtime music then now that scouts broke a sippy cup. Only bad thing about putting the baby to bed with a drink is there's a lot of pee in the morning
