@mommy_11_12_15, it's usually written in the divorce who gets to claim the kids. If not, my tax person always says it's who pays more for the children.

we are not divorced we are only separated nothing legal yet he keep putting it off @mamabee

then base it off of who paid more for them and who they were with more during the year. if you provided more then 50% of their income and they lived with you more then 50% of the year, then you claim them.

you either talk it out with your ex or go through court for custody/child support and they will discuss a fair way for each of you guys to claim the kids on taxes (Example 1 year you 1 year him)
