It depends on who does it. I've have three different doctors check my cervix and only one of the time it really hurt. But the other two were very gentle and it didn't hurt a single bit.

Discomfortable but not really painful. I know it's very very hard but if you can go to your happy place and relax it makes it a lot easier. And I know it's easier said then done. But try your best and good luck
