So I'm Hispanic and my boyfriend family does the Rosca De Reyes today and I wanted to be included in it but I was changing the baby and him and his whole family did t without me. I hate how they don't wait for me to do anything. I'm 19 so they see me as the kid and I feel like my opinion or say or even presence isn't even needed. Gets me so damn mad!😤

I'm sorry, it's hard to break into your mans family, especially when they are Latino lol. I dated one for years and we were engaged and it was like they went out of their way to make their feelings known. Honestly it's a big reason of why it didn't work with him. He would never stand up for me either. I expect that maybe from in laws but not from my own BF or fiancé.

I think you should let you bf know he should give you respect like his family does too it's something probably there still not use to but your bf has to stand up to them because tour a part of the family now even if they don't want too your with there son and you both have a kid together and if you don't let them know that now there going to keep doing it

I've been apart of their family for over a year and it's like everyday is the first day we met, they don't talk to me, invite me to things. Of course they acknowledge my BF as the dad and every time they talk about the baby its always "Israelis son" @mommabird

that's when you need to make him step up to there family and make them acknowledge that you exist and that your not just the gf your his partner and they have too some up too that whether they like it or not or tell your bf just to see what he say you can go alone to your mom's house and me and my son stay at home

it happens don't take it personal don't even let it get to you because believe it or not they enjoy it. it's always going to be like that no matter what age you are. my mother in law always try to make me feel less but I don't give her the satisfaction
