I'm finding out the gender of my baby this Friday. So I've come up with a definite name for a boy, still trying to make up my mind about a girl name. But I kinda don't want to share what name I've chosen until baby is born.
Reasons are because I don't want people to tell me they don't like it, or I don't want another pregnant woman in my life stealing my names.
Can anyone relate?

Yes I damn near strangled my mother in-law last pregnancy she kept trying to rename my daughter n was telling people the name she picked out was her name so this time around not telling anyone my son name

Our plan was to keep our baby's name a secret, because I didn't want anyone "stealing" it. But in reality, people will use it regardless if they want to, even if you wait. So that really wasn't a logical reason for us and we told everyone. Now as far as people saying they don't like it, I can get that. But people have their opinions no matter what, just tell them theirs don't matter. 😂
