has anyone ever donated plasma? does it hurt? what do they do? just curious

I have donated in the past ..its like giving blood but then they pump stuff back into your system. The whole process takes awhile.

they put the red blood cells back in you the plasma is just the watery stuff in your blood

they take the plasma out and then they pump another fluid in to replace the plasma @juliagail09

I used to it just hurt when the needle went in! lol actually my bf is there right now

its just like getting ur blood drawn it hurts for a second and then its fine @juliagail09

I tried doing this but my veins are terrible. make sure you stay super hydrated!
