get him a potty training urinal. it makes it fun. and make a big deal about going. is daddy in the picture? get him to take him with when he goes. may be a little awkward but kids learn well when they see it. I'm a nanny and have been hired multiple times to teach potty training to toddlers boys can be tough.

Lol well he grabs his underwear when I put them on him and pulls it down he did that with his pull up and I will sit him on his potty and he will sit there for a few mins and nothing but five mins after he gets off he pees and then he comes to me pulling at his underwear but I am just gonna try everyday until gets it he knows what the potty is because when I say sit on the potty he sits
Boys are harder to potty train. Girls are usually ready around 2 but with boys it's closer to 3. If you push him and he really isn't ready it will cause more problems and take even longer.
With my son we would sit him on the toilet facing the back, and my husband also took him to the bathroom every time he had to go and every 20 minutes or so. With boys facing backwards it'll help for when they stand and helps them hold on lots of kids get scared of falling in so it helps alot. We tried EVERYTHING from rewards, Cheerios to aim, potty chair, etc. Sitting backwards and having dad take him helped A LOT he was potty trained a little after he turned 2. Good luck!

My cousin put pieces of cereal in his training potty and had him aim for them. It actually worked

Be careful pushing it-- I worked with that age group for many years at a preschool and some kinds will regress if they're not ready. Good luck momma!
