hello ladies so I have gestational diabetes with this pregnancy and I went to the doctor the other day my baby is measuring a little over a week and a half above schedule at 4lb 3 oz. The doctor said she wouldn't be surprised if my little guy came this month which really scary to me because I'm only 31 weeks along and don't want my baby in the nicu....... she also said if my baby comes before 34 weeks I'll have to deliver in Phoenix and that's two hours away from where I live. Has anyone else had gestational diabetes and did your baby go to term? Feeling overwhelmed and very emotional lately.

I can't totally relate as this is my first but my mom had gestational diabetes with all five of us. I was a month late and my sister was three weeks late. The other three came a little after their due date so none were early. It's definitely possible!

I have it. my baby was 4lbs 10oz at my 31 week ultrasound....they said he's a week ahead but didn't say anything about having him early. I even said I hope he comes soon! and she said well you still have 2 months! I find it weird they said that to you....

I had it with my first daughter and she came at 35 weeks. she's was a healthy 7 pounds 1oz and nothing wrong. I now have it with my son and feel as though I won't go to term either as I'm measuring over a month ahead

thank you @alexalexa. and @jashmen I thought it was strange to but she said because my daughter came at 36 weeks and was so much smaller at this time and with all the issues we've been having around 34 weeks is when her guess is. I also have to go in twice a week to get monitoring done an ultrasound one day and a stress test the next.

I have gd. I am 31 weeks and baby measures at 34 weeks. They have told me I will be induced but they will make sure baby lungs are ready before they do.

8Lbs 13oz @r8chel23, she was definitely bigger than my other 2. They were 5Lbs 15oz and 6Lbs 4oz
