everything I have read says not to diet while breastfeeding but I'm 260 lbs and feel like a total whale. any suggestions?
So what I plan on doing after birth and we can totally do it together ! Is to cut down on my carbs and eat more protein so you and the. Baby get more nutrients ... You can download the app called "my fitness pal " and log your food in so you know what your eating and is not a diet just a lifestyle change so when you see your plate eat your protein then vegetables then your carbs vs eating your bread rice or pasta first . I did it before I got pregnant for a year and half and lost 80lbs and I didn't excercise ! I hate excercising and I stopped drinking cokes
don't diet but choose foods that are not processed and are rich in nutrients and fiber. proteins help you stay full longer and avocado is a healthy fat that helps your metabolism as well as cooking with coconut oil. also drink lemon water first thing in the morning.
I eat a lot of vegetables, fruits(but not with a red color it can cause allergies for your baby), rice, greens and every day I eat chicken breast on grill. Protein contain less calories and keep your body in good shape! But don't forget about vegetables! You need fiber also. In this 4 months after labor my weight dropped from 150lb to 118lb. And I ate cakes sometimes)))
