you don't actually needs lots of "stuff" we got swings (one for each girl) cribs, changing table, monitors (we wanted the video ones) clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets, a few rattles, books, burp cloths, sit me up or bumbo, bath wash, lotion, towels, tummy time mat, wash cloths, a tub (we just got a basic plastic that has the infant sling then it can be removed and just put them in the plastic once they get big enough, no reason to get a super fancy one),boppy pillow and car seats. it looks like a lot of stuff to get but they can get you with so many more "cool items" that you don't really need. they are going to grow so fast that I know several people that bought bunch of cool things but never got a chance to use them or baby didn't like it. a lot of my stuff is second hand and I am fine with that with no longer than the items will be used. hope that helps
@amorasmom, your welcome. it can be overwhelming with so many different options and cool things they have out. oh I forgot to mention bottles... I got a few of a couple different kind. some babies won't latch to certain nipples so I wouldn't buy a bunch of one kind until you know that is what baby will use. if someone is willing/wanting to pass down some items I would take them (my sister in law passed down a lot) that saves you money in the end and like I said before they will grow so fast why spend the money if you don't need to. my SIL had twin boys and I am having twin girls so my girls will have some "boy centered" items but personally I don't care. the sleepers will be worn at home and the burp cloths/bibs will just get gross. I do have some girly ones too from showers that I can put in the bag for when we go out. okay I'm rambling now... but just trying to save you some money haha
