So I took a pregnancy test and it looked like it had a negative when I barely even put it into the urine. I know when you pee in a cup and then dip the stick you're supposed to hold it in for 30 seconds. Could it be a defective test if I could see the outline of the negative when I barely dipped the tip in? After a few mins the negative is dark & solid whereas the control line is lighter and broken in the middle.

I mean I'm pretty sure it's right but I just wanted to know if the test could be wrong?
