depends on you.. I've never had painful sex if I wasn't pregnant or post op.. painful sex could mean a few different things.. I'd definitely call my Dr about it to be safe

have you gone to help Dr to make sure your body is good to go for a baby? I'm not trying to frighten you or anything but it's always good to make sure everything is good to go. my mom had ovarian cysts after depo but she was also 15 when she had me. Irregardless, you wanna get that pain checked out soon (:
