I just got that shot. My arm I got it in was sore for a day and I had to use my other hand to move it. But my doc said it's protects baby from whooping cough after birth and control asthma. I myself have severe asthma so got the shot knowing I didn't want her to deal with it too.

i got mine and didn't feel it at all and had no.soreness after (and im a complete wimp!) and your baby can't get its own vaccine for whopping cough till its a frw months old. and you should get it yourself anyway cause i think.something around 60% of babies that get it get it from there mamas

But my thing is that i got the shot before i got pregnant so I don't see why I have to get it again

@cumminsbaby_98, I would ask your Dr to be sure but they probably want you to get it again to protect the baby. they give it to you at a certain time to give as much as possible to baby.

pros: you won't get whooping cough and pass the deadly disease on to baby.
Con: it hurts.
