I saw where you can do a DNA test through blood work while pregnant. Has anybody done that? I'm curious to where I need to get it done at and how much if my insurance doesn't cover it ? Thanks!

I was told you could thru amniotic fluid but I'm not letting anyone disturb her home.

I saw where you can do it through blood test at 8 weeks and later. I don't want the baby harmed I can wait if anything. But I'm going to ask my doctor Thursday about the blood test. They say the baby's DNA can be found in mothers blood

I did my doctor did mine at 11 weeks covered on insurance its blood work checks for all kinds of things like down syndrome and gender

I had mine done through blood work, but because I'm high risk. Some doctors only do it/insurance only covers it if you're high risk because they are mainly checking for birth defects.

I had to go to a specialist to get mine done. Not too sure if you can pay out of pocket for something like that. :/
