I'm due Febuary 20th and my baby's father has been in jail since July of 2015... this has been the hardest for me. he wants to be in the babies life and he regrets going to jail. he's missing out on all of this. he gets out this March so he'll be here for her, but he'll miss the birth of his baby girl and I'm so sad and depressed :(

My baby father wasn't there for mine either, he's been in jail for a year now & my son is 7 months old. if you ever need somebody to talk to who's been in your shoes, message me anytime :)

@joneskr as mothers, we have to be. you'll see when your baby gets here. there's just something that comes over you where you know you'll do anything to take care of your baby. it's amazing, that little life came out of your body. you made a human being. I know that you feel it now, but when you actually get to hold you baby in your arms, it's so much stronger & very real. there's nothing else like it in the world.

Depending on your crime I guess, but they let my friends dad be at the hospital for the birth of her brother.. But he had to leave right after he got to hold the baby. @joneskr

I think he would have to apply for it .. But if his crime isn't that serious I think you can get it
