My baby spits up sfter feeding like 5 times and always cries a lot between. What is it? Acid reflux?

How much does he drink? He could possibly be too full.

@junesmommy15, 4 oz. he is almost 2 months.

How often does he eat? I would try giving him 3 every 2-3 hours and see how he acts then. Sometimes when you feed him and he still acts hungry try soothing him with something else like a paci or skin to skin. He's still small so that could be it.

I had that problem and my pediatrician told me to stop half way and try burping. It did the trick my youngest just drank so fast and got so full she needed a pause is all.

Try 3 instead and keep burping in between. If this doesn't help you can call your pediatrician. Sometimes spit up is ok as long as they are still gaining and wetting and pooping regularly. They just get full sometimes and spit up what they can't hold. If you feel like you hould call a ped after, do so. You know what's best.

my baby had the same symptoms. she did have acid reflux. I would feed her 2 oz then burp her & then give her the rest & then burp her again. It worked better then letting her drink the whole thing & then burping her on a full stomach. I would also not lay her down 30 - 45 min after eating otherwise she would spit it all up. She preferred sleeping in her carrier instead of the bassinet or crib because it propped her up. when she was flat down she would cry non-stop & not sleep well. Hope this helps
