so what's the pros and cons of an electric breast pump? I'm afraid because I know when it comes in its gonna hurt for a little while but IDK if I can do electric... much less make myself hurt by doing it manually.

Electric breast pumps are amazing. I used one for 7 weeks and can't think of any cons.

@momagainjj82, touche! I'm just a scardy cat when it comes to pain lol coming from a pregnant lady who's 6-7 months along. but yeah a wimp and know it will hurt if I don't pump/feed but the suction on a sore nipple sounds just as painful and bluh

Electric pumps suction can cause oversupply. It's handy also, I guess.

It can be when you have hard to the touh and lumpy breast. It can come ut too fast for baby also. You just have to make sure not to pump too much at once. In my case I didn't realize that pumping 2-3 ounces was ok.
