Tomorrow is our anatomy scan for our Twins and I'm a nervous wreck today. We have a greater chance that there could be something wrong with one or both of them. I don't know how to calm my fears about this. I also heard that your SO can't be in there in the beginning which makes it worse. I feel like once it's over, as long as all is well, I'll be able to relax a bit and patiently wait for our viability date.

@ftmommieoftwiinz, @mimiz @rebcamdot @twinmamma2015 I had my anatomy scan this morning. The Sonographer said things look good, just waiting on the specialist to look, then she'll let my doctor know. They let my SO right in, it was such a cool experience. Thank you for your help girls. I was obviously overreacting.
@ftmommieoftwiinz, Oh I can't even imagine. I will be thinking about you and those sweet babies. I'm so sorry you're going through that. I'm really hoping everything will be right where it's supposed to be when you go in. Please keep me updated.
@dontberidiculous, I won't find out until thursday. fingers crossed I hope so! it's crazy because baby B is growing healthy like normal..it's just baby a..its hard to get excited when idk what's going on.. :(
@rebcamdot, I really hope that's not the case for you. Mine have all been at a hospital as well and it's never been a problem. Prayers for a good day tomorrow.
@mimiz, @rebcamdot @twinmamma2015 Okay, so I've done some more research and there really are a lot of women that have had to go in to their anatomy scan alone. What I found were some being on Kaiser (private insurance) and other's that are having theirs done at a hospital, as I am. I guess I won't know until tomorrow. From what I understand when you have it done at the hospital the radiologists do it and it's not a fun experience. Thank you for all of your well wishes and positive thoughts. I'll let you all know how it goes.
@ftmommieoftwiinz, That sounds absolutely awful. Has the fluid level increased and is everything else going well at this point?
Aww your expecting twins too! congrats.. like the other girl said.. there's no such thing as over reacting with twins.. last visit they told me my baby didn't have enough fluid and may not make it.. I almost torn his whole office down..let us know how it goes! I have my twins anatomy scan on the 28th!

there is no such thing as overreacting with twins haha! you always worry that they're both doing well and getting what they need! I took lots of vitamins and protein shakes. I ate lots of home cooked meals, I craved meat, veggies and potatoes the whole pregnancy! I'd still eat junk but I'd prefer the home cooked meal first!

it's really no different, just take longer, I think I was in there for over an hour! they measure everything check out the heart n kidneys, and if they aren't to happy with the pics they got they'll just recheck them next visit. Like they said baby A's heart looked fine but wanted to double-check next time as he got bigger but he was a wiggler lol he wouldn't stay still lol!

why won't they let him in there? it's his baby too? I had my mom,sister and nephew in there with me.
@mimiz, @twinmamma2015 That's good to know. That made me so anxious. He goes to every appointment and always gets to be in there but it seemed like the ladies were saying it's different since it's the anatomy scan.
@dontberidiculous, I had my mother and boyfriend at mine and have had them at every ultrasound and echocardiogram every month, I'm sure they'll let him be with you. I wish you all the best!
my SO was there from the time I walked back in the room wtf rule is that
ok well unless they pointed out something already I wouldn't worry hun, cuz they can usually catch something with as many ultrasounds you get.. I'm sure everything will be fine!
@mrssarahbeth, That's a huge relief, no, my Doctor didn't say anything. I have just heard other ladies say it. I was going to ask the hospital when they called to confirm my appt today, but they didn't call.
Weird my mom and husband always went to mine it's not distracting at all if they aren't wild you know
the boys dad isn't really in the picture but I had my parents with me everytime (I was always covered so my dad could be in there also) one time I even had my parents, sister in law and niece in there with me.
@twinmamma2015, I get ultrasounds at every appointment so once every 3 weeks-month.
@mimiz, Now I'm not 100% sure about my hospital but I have heard a ton of women say that they don't let them accompany you because it can be distracting while the Sonographer is checking things. They say your SO can join you once you see the specialist.
Did you doc tell you he can't be there? My hubby was there the whole time.
oh good I'm so glad to hear!!! and like my doc said to me you can never overreact, cuz it's easy to fix something before it's too late!!! ☺
